| Succulents are not just great because they are easy to grow, but they are also easy to make more of. Propagating is a big word and sounds a little more difficult than it actually is. So what is propagating? Glad you asked. Propagation means creating a new plant from the cutting, bulb, seeds, or part of the original plant. I have done some reading about succulents and gotten mixed reviews on the best way to propagate succulents, but here is the method I used. |

| There are succulents that are supposed to get long and trail... but these little guys are actually not supposed to do that. When certain succulents get leggy, it means that they are not getting enough sunlight. Although its not necessarily a good thing, it is a good opportunity create some new plants. |

| Remove the leaves. Pretty simple, huh? Just make sure they don't rip as you are pulling the leaves off. Lay them out to dry a little. They have to, for lack of a better word, scab over. Once they have dried for a few days, or even a week, they are ready to insert into the soil. Succulents like a dry sandy soil that drains well. Water them every couple days. |

| After a couple weeks (depending on climate), you will begin to see the little buds coming up from the dried end. After a few more weeks they will begin to take root and look like a real plant! |
