For the past several years I have always spent the New Year
in a place other than home. This year we decided to stay in and celebrate with
a few friends. We all went to dinner and ended up back at home. I made a few
little treats and we watched the ball drop together. It was simple but much
needed. I hope you had a great new year as well!
Punch: Ginger ale
and white grape juice (equal parts), garnish with frozen grapes
Cupcakes: I used a
white cake mix and followed the box instructions. I split the batter and put
red food color in half to make it pink. I swirled the two colors together to
make a pretty design. I topped with cream cheese frosting and some pop
rocks.
